The Free-Improv band’s first recording: INNERrOUTe remains deeply rooted in jazz, while creating genre-bending journeys in free improv, touching rarely experienced and emotionally beautiful realms.
INNERrOUTe began as four like-minded musicians who came together for impromptu jam sessions that turned into something much more. The chemistry was so strong it seemed to create a fifth member, which was actually the spirit of the music effortlessly playing us! We all acknowledged that there was magic in the room.
Always trusting that this musical spirit will appear, nothing is scripted or prepared before hand. We simply follow our collective intuition and soon find ourselves in a deep non-verbal dialog. Defying categorization, INNERrOUTe’s music reaches across all boundaries drawing on all genres.
